报告主题：Modeling the Transmission Dynamics of COVID-19 in China and US

报告人介绍🧖🏻‍♂️：Dr. Sen Pei is an Associate Research Scientist in Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. His research focus is mathematical modeling, statistical inference and real-time forecast of infectious disease spread. His studies have been published in scientific journals including Science, PNAS, Nature Communications and eLife, and reported by press media including the New York Times and MIT Technology Review. He has received the First Prize of Outstanding Research Article Award from the International Society for Disease Surveillance (ISDS) and Calderone Junior Faculty Award from Mailman School of Public Health. He obtained his PhD in Mathematics from Beihang University in 2015, advised by Prof. Zhiming Zheng (member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences).
